My Austin View

This blog is this Austinite's daily view - literally. In the more than 25 years I've lived in this great city, I've seen a lot of changes. Some things I took for granted are gone now. So, I decided to spend a year documenting images of things I see in my world right now - my Austin. Some photos are things tourists would see; some are things only my neighbors would see. Oh, and I don't claim to be a professional photographer - just a gal with a camera.

The eagle has landed

"Eagle II" - Cor-Ten steel sculpture by David Deming. This sculpture graces the front plaza of the John Henry Faulk Library, the central location of the Austin Public Library System, in downtown Austin.
