This blog is this Austinite's daily view - literally. In the more than 25 years I've lived in this great city, I've seen a lot of changes. Some things I took for granted are gone now. So, I decided to spend a year documenting images of things I see in my world right now - my Austin. Some photos are things tourists would see; some are things only my neighbors would see. Oh, and I don't claim to be a professional photographer - just a gal with a camera.

Ghost bike
Ghost bikes appear all over the city. They are placed anonymously to mark a spot where a bike rider has been struck by a car and killed. They are memorials to the lost riders and reminders to be careful and watch out for one another.
