This blog is this Austinite's daily view - literally. In the more than 25 years I've lived in this great city, I've seen a lot of changes. Some things I took for granted are gone now. So, I decided to spend a year documenting images of things I see in my world right now - my Austin. Some photos are things tourists would see; some are things only my neighbors would see. Oh, and I don't claim to be a professional photographer - just a gal with a camera.

Kruger's
Kruger's Jewelers is a mainstay of downtown Austin. It's been in its store at 8th and Congress since 1939 and is still going strong.
